Bar Supervisor, Boston Arms, Sheffield - Part Time

- Based at Boston Arms, Woodseats, Sheffield
- Part Time - 8 to 16 hours per week
- £12.42 p/h + bonus scheme
- Passionate about great customer service
- Previous bartending experience essential
- An interest in craft beer or cocktails desired
- Comfortable closing and opening the venue
- Experience with catering or barista work a bonus
Overview:
We are looking for a bar supervisor to join our team. Strong customer service is a must, as well as someone who can multitask, work fast and provide a fantastic service for our customers. Although you'll need to manage staff members on occasions, the supervisor role is primarily for managing the venue when working solo shifts and weekend close shifts.
Most of the hours on offer will be across Friday, Saturday and Sunday so weekend availability is essential, but we will always try to accommodate your requests and schedule if we are able to fit it around our rota.
Job Duties:
Opening up, and closing the bar:
- Setting up and making the bar presentable for service. Setting up the till system, and managing itinerary online.
- Supervising the close down shifts and locking away assets.
Running the bar:
- Pouring and serving drinks, taking payments.
- Being proactive and ensuring the bar is well stocked with glassware and product in preparation for busy periods.
- Providing excellent customer service and being extremely knowledgeable about the products we have on offer.
- Keeping on top of cleaning duties when the bar is quiet.
- Continuously proactive with ideas and general upkeep.
- Helping to run events taking place at Boston Arms.
